Headquartered in Karachi, IPAK was founded in 2017 as a green field project to manufacture “BOPP” packaging films in Lahore. The Company’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility is spanning over an area of ~7 Acres land, where the major machinery has been acquired from the world’s top class engineering firms such as Bruckner Maschinenbau (Germany), BOBST (United Kingdom), KAMPF (Germany), etc.

IPAK is a budding yet high growth potential company with a focus to develop and deliver excellent quality packaging films to the local as well as international markets. Staying committed to its unwavering strategic objectives, the Company decided to expand its business footprint, by incorporating three new subsidiaries which will enable the group to become the only flexible packaging group of Pakistan, offering a one-window solution for all three kinds of commonly used packaging films i.e. BOPP, BOPET and CPP.

Once all the new equipment is up and running, IPAK is set to become the largest packaging films manufacturer in Pakistan by FY 2024. The Group will then have;

CPP              7.2KT (1 line)
Metallized   25KT (3 machines, latest one 3.65m with Alubond and AlOx capabilities)

Simultaneously, the company ventured into international markets, exporting its products and earning a reputation for exceptional quality, reliability, and innovation through its recently added subsidiary called IPAK Connect, which serves as a bridge connecting the IPAK group with the world. With office based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates IPAK Connect is dedicated to catering global markets, fostering growth. This strategic expansion allows IPAK to broaden its reach and establish a stronger presence internationally.

The three subsidiary companies are:

CPAK, specializes in Cast Polypropylene (CPP) packaging films. These films are renowned for their versatility and durability in terms of seal integrity, seal strength and superior mechanical properties making them ideal for various food applications. CPAK, with the support and guidance of IPAK’s management team, delivers high-quality CPP films to meet diverse packaging needs of its customers.

PETPAK offer BOPET films a completely different product line compared to BOPP and CPP films. These clear, strong, and versatile films serve diverse packaging needs including food, pharmaceuticals and technical. Historically, BOPET films are not recycling friendly but , PETPAK will be focussing on prioritizes eco-friendly solutions, aligning with the growing demand for sustainability in packaging.

GPAK, an IPAK subsidiary, stands for Global Packaging and aims to expand its reach worldwide in BOPP and CPP packaging films. With a global vision, GPAK seeks to provide high-quality packaging solutions to international markets, leveraging IPAK’s expertise in the industry.

“IPAK Connect” a gateway to GCC, Middle East, Africa that taps further into Far East, Europe, US and Latin American markets. Based in Dubai due to strategic location, IPAK can efficiently capitalize on international trade opportunities, collaborate with partners from diverse regions and drive industry innovation empowering company to develop tailor made sustainable packaging solutions.

Integrated Management System

The IPAK Integrated Management system provides a mechanism for Quality, Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety and Food Safety Management systems throughout all areas and Departments of International Packaging Films Limited.

The Integrated Management System is designed to meet and exceed customer requirements and expectations to cover Environmental Aspects and impacts, Occupational Health & Safety Hazards and Risks, Food Safety etc.

IPAK is committed to defining its position in the marketplace and understanding how relevant factors arising from legal, political, economic, social and technological issues influence its strategic direction and Organizational context. IPAK identifies, analyses, monitors and reviews factors that may affect its ability to satisfy its customers and stakeholders as well as factors that may adversely affect the stability of its process, or its management system’s integrity.

IPAK reviewed and analyzed key aspects of itself and its stakeholders to determine the strategic direction of the company. Identified ‘interested parties’ (Stakeholders) who receive our services or who may be impacted by them or those parties who may otherwise have a significant interest in our company.

Understanding internal and external issues that are of concern to IPAK. Many such issues are identified through analysis of risks facing IPAK interested parties. Such issues are monitored and updated as appropriate and discussed as part of Management Reviews.

IPAK external and internal issues are relevant to its purpose and its strategic direction and that affect its ability to achieve the intended results of Integrated Management System through PEST Analysis. The external and internal issues identified through PEST Analysis are continuously being Monitored and Reviewed by Top Management.

IPAK recognizes that we have a unique set of interested parties whose needs and expectations change and develop over time, and furthermore that only a limited set of their respective needs and expectations are applicable to our operations or to our Integrated Management System.

To ensure that our products and processes continue to meet all relevant requirements. We identify and assess the potential impact of any relevant needs and expectations that may be elicited from the interested parties.

Where appropriate, to ensure that our processes are aligned to deliver the requirements of our interested parties: we convert relevant needs and expectations into requirements which become inputs to our IMS and to our Product & Design.
